Galerie F offers a new approach to the modern concept of the gallery space. As a street level space, open to the public six days a week without appointment, we celebrate an interaction with and celebration of the arts. Galerie F supports local, national, and international artists through exclusive exhibitions as well as daily public interaction. The work displayed at our space will stem from what its partnering business, FugScreens Studios, represents: a fusion of fine art, street art, and gig posters.
FugScreens is dedicated to making screen printing obtainable to the public, whether through fostering new talent or providing a true one-on-one learning experience. The studio offers private tutoring, group classes, residencies, and internships.
The Chicago Printers Guild supports and fosters the work of printers of all backgrounds with opportunities to share knowledge, information and ideas among printers and the printing community; and the Guild strives to bring awareness of the printmaking taking place in Chicago to the community at large in the city and beyond.
Guild Members network and pick up tips of the trade from fellow printers at the casual monthly meetings, and can get a heads up on upcoming shows, contests and other opportunities to promote their work. The meetings are usually held in a Guild Members studio or shop, with a tour and the presentation of work included as part of the meeting.
Galerie F is an Artist Owned and Artist Operated gallery in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood...and we need your help to raise funds to open its doors this Summer.
